Kick off and Extra Time

In typical Stormsriver fashion - a plan was made for our local kids to be able to watch Bafana Bafana and other important matches. Stormsriver Adventures, in collaboration with Stormsriver West Community members facilitated a joint collaboration and a DSTV dish and screen was put up in our Community Centre; a safe environment created for our kids to enjoy the World Cup watched over by volunteers from the Community and even a hot meal was provided.

BUT - What happens after the final whistle, when the drone of Vuvuzelas has died down and the visitors from all corners of the world have gone home. Are we going to leave you high and dry - a resounding NO - we are going to continue the Gees here in Stormsriver. Merry Month of May

Storms River was abuzz from 30 April to 2nd May to the sounds of Elivis and the streets were lined with festive stalls, Cadillacs of many hues, Marilyn lookalikes, the smells of the diner and all sorts of Elvis era memorabilia and brilliant live shows from Elvis Tribute artists and Shaky Russel and his band. A good clean time was had by all and we hope that Oom Jan and Ann from the Protea Hotel Village Inn will do it again next year. Hats off to you guys for bringing something fresh, festive and vibrant to the Tsitsikamma.
